Hi! I'm Catharine!

Like many of the people I encounter as a diabetic educator and macronutrient coach, I've had a turbulent relationship with my body and understanding healthy behaviors. I grew up riding my bike through the mud, dancing in my basement, and exploring the forest. As I grew older and became more self-conscious, other activities, such as step aerobics, step climbers, and jogging, took their place. This led to an all-or-nothing mindset. Like a clock pendulum, it swung from doing nothing to trying to do everything. 

In 2023, I had enough of extreme diets and exercise. There had to be a different way so that I could eat without punishment and use cardio exercise as a way to torture myself for my choices. When I heard about macro coaching, I signed up for 1:1 coaching. Initially skeptical, I trusted the process and learned to use food as nourishment and weight training to find power and strength in my body and mind.  This led to practicing my consistency and cementing my commitment to my health and well-being.

As a Registered Nurse for over 18 years and a Certified Diabetic Educator, I have supported individuals through every stage of life, including those navigating chronic illness and hormonal challenges. I specialize in nutrition, diabetes, obesity management, resistance training, and menopause support coaching—helping women manage symptoms, boost energy, and optimize well-being during peri-menopause, menopause, and beyond.

I believe fitness and nutrition should be seamlessly woven into daily life, creating lasting transformation in mind, body, and spirit. My approach combines strength training, tailored nutrition planning, restorative practices, and sustainable behavior change to help clients achieve a strong, healthy lifestyle.

Most importantly, I aim to help clients build confidence, overcome barriers, celebrate progress, and discover their full potential—because they are capable of great things
